New made-to-order dresses, skirts, shirts and pants in Poliamide Taffta, her name for polyamide (nylon) taffeta, added between September 2 and October 13, 2026. Ten prints are in taffta for the first time, among them Orchid Oil Painting, Watercolor Bamboo, Victoria Leopard Pastel, Black Magnolia. New cuts in taffta include the Laurent, the Samantha Shirt, the Claire. Every print is silk-screened by hand, for the best color.

Como is the heart of Italy’s silk and textile tradition, where families ran print studios for generations. Every time I return, there is something new to find: an archive, a technique, a color.

This season, those prints arrive in taffta, our polyamide taffeta: some for the very first time, and in new shapes I have never made in this fabric.

The Laurent, one of our signature shapes, is in taffta for the first time, and so are the Samantha Shirt and the Claire.

New Prints

"It's not just a check, it's a painting that moves with the dress."

That is Watercolor Check, drawn entirely by hand in watercolor, with a subtle pyramid motif within its grid. This season it arrives in taffta for the first time, and so do nine more of my prints.

The Fiori Poppy is here in taffta too, in its darker colors for fall.

What is Poliamide Taffta?

Polyamide taffeta. Polyamide is the fabric family that includes nylon, and Taffta is the Samantha Sung spelling of taffeta. It is a different fabric from her Silk Taffta.

Is the Poliamide Taffta collection made to order?

Yes. Every piece is made to order, just for you. Many prints can also be ordered as fabric through Fabric Ready to Order.

Which prints are in taffta for the first time?

By hand screen printing. In Samantha's words: “We still do it the traditional way: hand screen printing.” Each color is separated and printed with its own silk screen, one by one.
