Barcelona Mode

Barcelona Mode Collection

A Spanish Inspiration, A Global Spirit

The Barcelona Mode print came to me through a painting from an artist who lives between Spain and Italy. It was unlike the florals I so often create—more geometric, more abstract. I felt echoes of Picasso, a touch of Miró, and the brightness of Barcelona itself. Even the way a lemon was painted struck me as distinctly Spanish. It wasn’t made in Barcelona, but it carried the energy of that city, and so I named it Barcelona Mood.

When I think of how this print should live, I imagine it in movement—on the streets of Barcelona, in the quiet of a museum, or at a dinner in the city where art and life overlap. It’s bold, yet delicate. A painting you can wear.

The Silhouettes

For this collection, I’ve brought Barcelona Mood into four silhouettes that each tell the story in their own way. The Audrey Dress in silk taffeta is long and dramatic, with a 3/4 sleeve and shirt collar that makes it timeless. The Aster Dress, shown in ramie and musola, offers that same shirt-collar ease in both midi and midi-plus lengths—lightweight, flowing, and ready to travel with you. And the Laurent Dress, sleeveless in cotton stretch, is pared back and modern, letting the print itself take center stage.

Each shape shows a different side of Barcelona Mood—structured, flowing, classic, or fresh. That’s what excites me: one print, many lives, each woman finding her own way to wear it.

A Note from Samantha

“My Barcelona Mood print carries memories of art, travel, and the bold colors of Spain. I hope when you wear it, you feel both adventurous and at ease, wherever life takes you.”
