Animal prints have always held a special place in my work.
They are bold yet familiar, expressive yet timeless — a visual language that women instinctively understand.
This season, I wanted to revisit these motifs with a more modern sensibility, using unexpected color palettes and fabrics that create softness, depth, and subtle movement.

Let me share how this collection came to life.

A Modern Interpretation of a Timeless Motif

When most people think of animal prints, they imagine something loud — strong contrasts, sharp patterns, dramatic coloration.
But I have always approached them differently.

I draw them by hand so they feel artistic rather than photographic, feminine rather than aggressive, elevated rather than trendy.
This is where the refinement begins.

Colombo Leopard, Viper Zebra, and Animal Forest remain the anchors of this season’s print story, but in a new range of tones:

• Dusty beige

• Olive

• Plum

• Midnight

These shades create a softer, more sophisticated mood.
They allow the print to express itself without overwhelming the wearer — the print becomes part of the woman, not the other way around.

How Animal Prints Come Alive Through Fabric

One of the most important parts of designing with animal motifs is choosing the right fabric — not all surfaces interpret the print the same way.
This season, I selected fabrics that each bring their own voice to the pattern.

Silk Taffta

Sheen, refinement, and architectural light.

Animal prints take on a new identity on Silk Taffta.
The gentle sheen softens the pattern, giving leopard or tiger an almost abstract, luminous quality.
When the light hits the fabric, the print reveals itself quietly — never loud, always elegant.

Wool Muslin

Soft, airy, unexpected.

Many people never imagine animal prints on wool, but on wool muslin, they become beautifully light.
Because wool muslin has that delicate transparency — similar to voile — the print feels layered, dimensional, and wearable from fall through early spring.

• transitional dresses

• layering with boots

• creating warmth without weight

Cotton Voile & Ramie

Light, breathable, artistic.

On lighter fabrics such as cotton voile or ramie, animal prints appear more fluid — almost painted.
These fabrics are ideal for warmer climates or resort-style dressing, where the print becomes soft, breezy, and easy.
